Stewart S. Warren

From the poem,  “Street Art”

“…Not all on the walls

of Alburquerque is iconography,

but something vital here

has been born from corn,

birthed in the trembling

of east/west trains,

come down from the mountain.

How many Virgins

it might take to save

the world depends

on roses blooming at her feet…”
