The Low Down on What Tanaya Is Bringing Us

As you may know, Tanaya Winder is our Spring Program Coordinator. She took this on WHILE WORKING ON HER DISSERTATION WHICH SHE DEFENDS THIS WEEK. So she’s not only busy earning her MFA in creative writing and putting together a full poetry manuscript for the degree, but she’s also holding steady (as she always does) and giving back to the community.

Here’s a short list of what to put on your calendar for this month:

April 13th from 9:30-10:45 at UNM space TBA
Tanaya will be co-faciliating a Creative Writing Workshop as part of the 2012 Indigenous Book Festival at UNM. Write and we’ll send you more details on this.
Saturday April 14th 4:00-5:30 at the Projects 3614 High Street NE
Tanaya will host and moderate Verso Quatro, a panel discussion featuring Nick DePascal, Jennifer Krohn, Brian Hendrickson, and Nora Hickey.
Sunday April 15th 3:00 pm at the Projects 3614 High Street NE.
We resume our craft talk series as Tanaya hosts Diane Thiel and one other feature TBA offering craft/aesthetics/poetics talks.
Thanks Tanaya for putting together a great line-up!
In May she’ll also be a featured reader at east of edith so keep checking back for that date!
