Sunday Readings March 25th Noon to 2PM

So it’s time again for our Sunday midday gathering to read poetics essays out loud and enjoy a nice discussion of process and form and content and all the goodies like line breaks and syllables. If you feel like joining us, this week we are reading Hugo’s Triggering Town chapter 6, as well as a short piece by William Carlos Williams, and another essay by Louise Gluck. I’ll make coffee and bring some snacks, and we’ll run from noon to 2 pm. Much fun. Small group. We share the reading responsibilities.

So that’s this Sunday March 25th from noon to 2 pm at the community room In Silver Gardens apartments which is located at 100 Silver Ave SW. (Enter on Silver between 1st and 2nd Streets) There is security, and so I watch the door to let people in starting around 11:45 and going to 12:05. Outside of that you need to call me.

No need to read in advance as we just go for it on the spot, but I will happily send anyone interested in attending pdfs which you can print and have available to read from and mark up etc. And my phone number in case you need to be late. RSVP if you’re not already a regular to nearartexperience at yahoo dot com.

And FYI Sunday Readings meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Come late April Don McIver will also be starting some performance classes—but more on that later!
